TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) is a Prime contractor

World-Wide Satellite Systems (WWSS) is a joint venture between Project Manager Defense Communications and Army Transmission System (PM DCATS) and Project Manager Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (PM WIN-T) to acquire satellite terminals and support services for both strategic and tactical purposes.

The work to be performed will require the fabrication, testing, delivery, set up, checkout, operation, and maintenance of satellite terminals and related equipment. This contract provides users with a single-source, turn-key, rapid response solution for DoD communications requirements, including homeland security and disaster relief.

Six terminal types are provided under the WWSS contract:

• Combat Service Support (CSS) Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite terminal
• Fixed station satellite terminal
• VSAT satellite terminal
• Military certified satellite terminal
• Prime mover/trailer mounted satellite terminal
• Deployable satellite earth terminal
• Collectively, the terminals will provide operation on C, Ku, X, and Ka frequency bands for voice, data, and video teleconferencing.

Contract type: Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)

Contract period: 5 years

Contract ceiling: $5 billion

Task order pricing: Firm Fixed Price (FFP)

Eligibility: Federal agencies—DoD and non-DoD
