Thomas M. Brandt, Jr. Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Member, Board of Directors Thomas M. Brandt, Jr. joined TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) in 1997. As Senior Vice President and Chief financial Officer, he is responsible for the company’s financial management, reporting, controls, accounting, and administration. He joined the TCS board of directors in 2009. Prior to joining TCS, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the internet service provider Digex, Inc., where he helped lead an IPO.

Prior to Digex, Mr. Brandt was Chief Financial Officer and Controller for several other corporations, including at a Fortune 500 New York Stock Exchange company. He also spent 12 years with Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Brandt also serves on the boards of Antenna Research Associates, a private communications technology manufacturing company, and TechAmerica (formerly AeA), the largest US IT trade association.

Mr. Brandt is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his AB from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
